The Wayne City Ruritan Club is celebrating the essential workers who keep the community strong and safe by hosting a free appreciation breakfast during May. In recognition of National Firefighters Day, National EMS Week, Nurses Appreciation Week, and Healthcare Workers Appreciation Week, the club invites all local heroes to enjoy a complimentary meal as a token of gratitude.
The breakfast will be held on Saturday, May 16th, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Wayne City Community Building. The event is open to all firefighters, police officers, EMS and ambulance crews, nurses, healthcare workers, and anyone who serves the community in any capacity.
The Ruritan Club says this is their way of saying “thank you” for the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice shown by these individuals every day. Attendees are encouraged to bring their appetite and a friend.
