The Flora High School Music Department is inviting the community to support its students during a unique one-day fundraising event next month.
The fundraiser will take place at Flora High School on Saturday, May 16th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., when the school will be transformed into a full mattress showroom for the day.
Organizers say shoppers will have the opportunity to browse and test more than 30 different mattress styles, all available in a variety of sizes and priced below retail. In addition to mattresses, items such as adjustable power bases, premium pillows, bed frames, and mattress protectors will also be offered.
Well-known brands, including Purple, Helix, and Therapedic, will be available. All products come with factory warranties and are made to order, with pickup or delivery expected within two to three weeks.
The event is being coordinated with Custom Fundraising Solutions, a company that launched the mattress fundraiser concept in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2005. The organization now operates nearly 80 locations and has partnered with more than 3,000 schools across the country, generating over $70 million for school programs.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Flora High School Music Department.
