Illinois Extension invites community members to attend “Rethink and Recall: Understanding Memory and Embracing Change,” a seminar focused on brain health, memory, and navigating change as we age. The event will take place Wednesday, May 20th with morning and afternoon sessions in Olney and Lawrenceville.
Robin Ridgley, Extension health and family educator, will lead discussions on how the brain is connected to memory and aging, covering topics such as “Hold That Thought” and “Navigating Change as We Age.” Attendees will learn about different types of memory, practical tips for memory retention, and strategies for adapting to age-related changes.
The seminar will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Richland County Extension Office, 306 S. Fair St., Olney, and from 2-4 p.m. at Farm Credit Illinois, 2401 W. Haven Rd., Lawrenceville. Participants of all ages are welcome.
