The City of Albion Water Department has announced that it will be flushing water lines throughout the community through May 14th. Officials say this routine maintenance is necessary to ensure the continued quality and safety of the city’s water supply.
During the flushing period, residents may notice discolored water coming from their taps. City officials are urging residents to check their water before doing laundry or other activities that require clean water, as discoloration can stain clothing.
“We want to make sure our residents are aware of the flushing schedule so they can plan accordingly,” said a spokesperson for the Albion Water Department. “Discolored water during this process is normal and should clear up after running the tap for a short period.”
For more information about the water line flushing schedule or if you have questions, residents are encouraged to contact the Albion Water Department directly.
