The Illinois Secretary of State Fairfield Driver’s License facility at 307 N. Market St. will temporarily move operations to Fairfield City Hall, 109 N. 2nd St., while its office undergoes renovations beginning Friday through May 31st.
According to a notice from the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office, the temporary site will operate Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Regular service at the Market Street location is scheduled to resume on Monday, June 1st
The move is part of preparations to bring a “One-Stop-Shop” DMV to Fairfield, aimed at streamlining driver and vehicle services.
