The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department made two arrests Wednesday involving warrant and theft-related charges.
40-year-old Lacey Rudy of Clay City was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a Wayne County failure-to-appear warrant for Operating A Motor Vehicle With Suspended Registration due to no insurance. Rudy was transported to and lodged in the Wayne County Jail pending a court appearance.
Later Wednesday evening, deputies arrested 32-year-old Alec Mitchell Draper of Fairfield on charges of Theft and Burglary to a Motor Vehicle. Draper was also transported to and lodged in the Wayne County Jail pending a court appearance.
