The American Red Cross recently hosted a successful blood drive at the Community of Christ, resulting in the collection of 56 units of blood to benefit patients in the local area. The Clothesline served as the event sponsor.
First-time donors Jaxson Crnovich and Sheryl McBride joined many others in supporting the drive. Drawing winners Andrew Alexander, Joe Holman, Steve Leathers, Keava McClellan, and Gerri Sutherland each received a $10 Walmart gift certificate.
Both the church and the Red Cross expressed their gratitude to everyone who participated and helped make the drive a success.
The next blood drive at the Community of Christ is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8th. Those wishing to donate can make advanced appointments by calling the American Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767.
