Troy Cannon, former Marion County, Illinois coroner, appeared recently at the Marion County Courthouse as the prosecution confirmed that all evidence has been reviewed and a jury trial has been officially scheduled.
Cannon has pleaded not guilty to seven felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse by a trusted adult, involving two minor girls under the age of 18. Both victims are reportedly under the age of 13.
A jury pre-trial is set for June 17th at 9:00am with a final pre-trial on September 3rd at 1:00pm.
The jury trial will begin on September 14th at 8:30am.
