The committee for Fairfield Fall Fun Fest recently met to continue planning for this year’s celebration, scheduled for September 16th through September 19th in Fairfield.
During the meeting, committee members announced that responsibility for street vendor recruitment and setup has been transitioned from JoAnn Sons to Libby Lingafelter. Sons is stepping back after many years of organizing vendor setup alongside her daughter, Cristy Pearce, who has also stepped away from the committee.
Vickie Leonard will continue overseeing tent and courthouse lawn vendors for the event.
Committee member Kristi Hornung is expected to begin fundraising efforts soon. Organizers say donations from businesses and individuals are welcomed to help support the annual festival.
