The Xenia Police Department will host its 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, May 30th at the Xenia Community Center.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature a car show, mud bog, food, vendors, and activities for children.
Car show registration will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. with a $15 registration fee per vehicle. Judging is scheduled for noon, followed by trophies and awards.
Mud bog sign-ups will be held from 11 a.m. to noon, with a drivers meeting scheduled at noon.
Organizers say the event will include free bounce houses for kids, along with pork chops, hot dogs, chips, drinks, and Sweetie’s Ice Cream available throughout the day. Vendor booths will also be set up for shopping.
A gun raffle featuring a Henry .22 Law Enforcement Tribute Edition rifle will also be held. Tickets are $10 each, with only 750 tickets available. The drawing will take place at 3 p.m., and participants do not need to be present to win.
