The Fairfield Public Library is excited to announce the start of its annual Summer Reading Program, running from Saturday, May 23rd, through Friday, July 10th. This program is open to students entering 1st through 8th grade, with registration available from May 23rd to June 7th
Young readers in 1st through 3rd grade will earn a prize for every 25 easy books they read, while those in 4th through 8th grade will receive a prize after every 6 juvenile fiction or non-fiction, grade-level chapter books completed. All books must be checked out from the Fairfield Public Library to qualify.
At the end of the program, the top 10 readers will be awarded special prizes. The library encourages all eligible students to participate and enjoy a summer filled with reading and rewards.
