The Mount Vernon Elks 819, Centralia Elks 493, Fairfield Elks 1631, Salem Elks 1678, and McLeansboro Elks 1882 Lodges, in partnership with the Illinois Elks Children’s Care Corporation, will sponsor a free orthopedic assessment clinic for children on Thursday, June 4th
The clinic will run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Neuromuscular Orthopaedic Institute office of Dr. Alan Froehling, located at 302 Broadway Street in Mount Vernon. Appointments are required and can be made by calling the Illinois Elks Children’s Care office at 1-800-272-0074 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
No charges will be assessed for any services at the clinic. Medical referrals are not necessary, but physicians and school nurses are welcome to refer children for evaluation or a second opinion. The clinic is an ideal opportunity for parents to have a child’s bone and joint development reviewed by specialists.
