TRAFFIC STOP IN CARMI LEADS TO ARREST OF TWO GRAYVILLE RESIDENTS ON DRUG CHARGES

A Sunday night traffic stop in Carmi resulted in the arrest of two Grayville residents. Carmi Police arrested Anthony Nold for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Passenger Tammy Vessels faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both Nold and Vessels were taken to the White County Jail and made their initial court appearance Monday morning.
