Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Business and Industry is offering a summer Emergency Medical Technician course for individuals interested in pursuing a career in emergency medical services.
The EMT course will run from June 4th through September 14th. Classes are scheduled on Mondays and Thursdays from 5 to 9:30 p.m., along with two Saturday sessions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Training will take place at the Wabash General EMS Training Center in Mount Carmel.
Officials say the program is designed to prepare students for the fast-paced and meaningful field of emergency medical services. Individuals interested in enrolling must first apply to the college and complete registration online at: https://iecc.edu/applycrm.
