Nicholas T. Jester, 31, of Albion, has been formally charged with aggravated fleeing or eluding, according to Michael St. Ledger.
The charge was filed May 15 in Edwards County.
Court records show Jester remains free under pretrial conditions while the case proceeds through the court system.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 9 in Edwards County Circuit Court.
