Fairfield Police conducted a traffic stop just before midnight on Tuesday at the intersection of West Delaware and Commerce Drive in Fairfield. During a search of the vehicle, officers arrested 46-year-old Zachary R. Wheeler of Fairfield on multiple charges.
Wheeler faces charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle.
Wheeler was transported and lodged in the Wayne County Jail where he made his court appearance Wednesday in Wayne County Circuit Court.
