Illinois Extension is inviting the public to explore a local highland cattle operation as part of the 2026 Summer Twilight Series. On Monday, June 22nd at 6pm, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Edmison Acres and Highland Cattle family farm at 777 County Rd 1875N, Johnsonville.
Participants will learn about the family’s inspiration for raising highland cattle, herd management in extreme temperatures, small-acre grazing practices, and the marketing strategy that has contributed to their success.
