44-year-old John R. Knight of Albion has been charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony.
Knight made his first appearance in court last week, where he entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
Court records show Knight remains free under pretrial conditions as the case proceeds through Edwards County Circuit Court.
A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for July 24th.
