28 year old Joshua Scott of Centralia, IL has been sentenced to three years in prison following a guilty plea in Marion County Court to threatening a public official.
Media reports say Scott was accused of threatening bodily harm or sexual assault to a Salem Police Sergeant or his family. Scott will have to serve six months mandatory supervised release following the prison sentence. As part of the plea, a felony domestic battery charge was dropped from a separate case.
