Salem, IL Man Sentenced on Probation Revocation

Reports out of Maron County say a Salem, IL man has been sentenced to four years in prison after his probation was revoked on multiple convictions based on new charges being filed against him.

Tyree Wilborn had been placed on probation earlier for mob action following an incident in April of 2025, where he reportedly swarming a car driving through Bryan Memorial Park, and for aggravated battery to a juvenile walking down Roddy Road.  In a separate case, he was on probation for obstructing justice and aggravated battery to a correctional officer at the Marion County Jail.

As part of the guilty plea, two counts of domestic battery following an arrest earlier this year was dismissed.  The prison time is to run concurrently.  Wilborn will also be on mandatory supervised release after prison.
