The Fairfield City Band will kick off its annual Summer Concert Series Thursday evening in Fairfield.
Concerts will be held each Thursday at 7 p.m. on the south side of the Wayne County Courthouse lawn throughout the summer season. A patriotic concert will wrap up the summer series on Thursday, July 2nd.
In the event of inclement weather, performances will be moved indoors to the multi-purpose room at First Christian Church.
The Fairfield City Band is under the direction of Joshua Livesay, who also serves as band director at Fairfield Community High School.
Community members are invited to attend the free weekly concerts and enjoy an evening of live music on the courthouse lawn.
