Illinois State Police (ISP) Troop 9 Commander, Lieutenant Bruce Waggoner, has announced the results of the Distracted Driving Enforcement Patrols conducted throughout Effingham, Marion, Wayne, and White counties in May. This initiative provided additional patrol coverage, allowing ISP officers to focus on saving lives and reducing serious crashes by strictly enforcing distracted driving laws.
