
Olney Central College is encouraging students to stay engaged this summer through its Ignite Curiosity Summer Camps, with registration now open for a variety of educational and hands-on learning opportunities.
Designed for students of different age groups, the camps focus on creativity, teamwork, technology, and practical skills.
The first camp, Culinary Conquest, will be held June 8th-12th from 10 a.m. to noon at the Terry L. Bruce West Richland Center in Noble. Open to students in grades 6-8, the camp costs $25 per participant.
LEGO Battle Bots Camp is scheduled for June 15th from 8 a.m. to noon at the West Richland Center. The camp is open to students in grades 3-8 and also costs $25.
Students in grades 8-12 can participate in Getting Styled on June 17th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the West Richland Center. The cost is $25 per camper.
Later in the summer, STEM Builders: 3D Printing Camp will be offered July 20th from 8 a.m. to noon in the OCC Learning Commons STEM Lab. The camp is open to students in grades 8-12 and costs $25.
College officials say the camps provide students with opportunities to explore new interests, develop valuable skills, and engage in interactive learning experiences throughout the summer.
