Donna Jeaninee Roper, age 81, of McLeansboro, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at her residence.
Donna was born July 3, 1944, in West Frankfort, IL to Franklin Curlee and Patricia Jean Armstrong. She married Frank Roper on November 5, 1960, in Willow Springs, IL. She was employed by Sam’s Club as an associate. Donna attended Cartwright Church in McLeansboro.
Her FAVORITE thing to do was to babysit her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband Frank; sons David Roper (wife Marsha) of Chicago, IL; Timothy Roper (wife Marie) of Hobart, IN; daughter Cathy King (husband Patrick) of Coral Springs, FL; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren also survive.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Visitation for Donna Roper will be Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, IL. with speaker Mark McDaniels officiating.
Donna will be cremated as per her request and a private burial of ashes with her family will be at a later date.
Harre Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
