Edwards and Wabash County Farm Bureau members are invited to attend an informative Farmland Assessment Program later this month. Brenda Matherly, Director of Local Government for the Illinois Farm Bureau, will lead the session. Matherly will provide an overview of the basic principles of farmland assessment and explain how members can better understand the assessment process. The event is open to all Farm Bureau members from Edwards and Wabash counties. While RSVPs are encouraged, they are not required. Members interested in attending can contact their local Farm Bureau office for more information. The Farmland Assessment Program is presented by the Edwards County Farm Bureau and the Wabash County Farm Bureau, both dedicated to serving area farmers and promoting agricultural education. The Farmland Assessment Program will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Edwards County Farm Bureau Community Room at 15 S. 5th St., Albion.
