BUSY THURSDAY IN WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT

Wayne County Circuit Judge Denton Aud’s courtroom was busy on Thursday with several defendants making appearances.

Brittany Bush, 37, of Fairfield appeared in court to face a charge of Violation of Probation on a 2023 Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine conviction.  Bush accepted a guilty plea on the Petition to Revoke and was sentenced to 60 days in the Wayne County Jail followed by 6 months of Conditional Discharge.  Bush was also ordered to pay all applicable fines and court costs.

Evan Bloehs, 36, of Olney, appeared in court for sentencing on a Class 2 Felony charge of Burglary.  Bloehs was sentenced to a term of 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, followed by 1 year of Mandatory Supervised Release.  Bloehs’ sentence will run concurrent to a similar sentence out of Richland County.

Lisa Johnson, 46, of Mt. Vernon, accepted a guilty plea of a Class 3 Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 2 years of Probation and ordered to pay all applicable fines and court costs.

Kelsey Bradshaw, no age or address listed, was sentenced to 1 year of court supervision after accepting a guilty plea on a Class A Misdemeanor charge of DUI.
