FMH Recognizes Dana Shantel Taylor and Marissa McKenzie

Fairfield Memorial Hospital is proud to recognize Dana Shantel Taylor, MSW, LCSW, ACSW, ACHE, Chief Operating Officer, and Marissa McKenzie,BBA, Chief People Officer, for serving as panelists during a recent Illinois Hospital Association symposium session titled “Listening to Lead: Using Frontline Input to Drive Proactive Safety Decisions.” The symposium brought together healthcare professionals from across Illinois to discuss innovative strategies to improve workplace safety, employee engagement, and organizational culture in healthcare settings. Dana and Marissa had the opportunity to represent not only Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Human Resources and Risk Management departments, but also Critical Access Hospitals throughout the state. During the session, the two leaders shared Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s experience implementing the Strategic Quality Support System and the measurable impact it has had on organizational reporting and safety culture.
