A fundraiser aimed at helping feed children in Wayne County is set for Saturday, June 13th in Cisne. The Feeding Kids of Wayne County Rib Cookoff will be hosted at All Star Package, with support from sponsors including Save A Lot and Brandon Irwin. Ribs will be provided by Save A Lot Fairfield and can be picked up the day of the event. Participants should sign in between 9 and 10 a.m., with judging scheduled for 4 p.m. Cash and gift prizes will be awarded, including $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place. Organizers say the event aims to bring the community together while raising funds to support local efforts to combat childhood hunger during summer break from school.
