Justin Keith Tennison 69, of McLeansboro, IL. passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, at his residence. Justin was born January 23, 1957, in St. Charles, Illinois. He was the son of Bobby Lee Tennison and Mary Lou (Ragsdale) Tennison. On September 25, 2006, he married Debra (Casper) Tennison and she survives.
Justin graduated from Irving Crown High School in Carpentersville, IL. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He moved to McLeansboro in 2003 and enjoyed the country living in retirement. Justin was also a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Elgin, IL. and McLeansboro, IL. Justin was a computer operator.
Survivors include his wife, Debra, daughter Janayah Protko (Matthew), Step-daughters, Denise Donoho and Dawn Haws (Stacy Garrison). Sisters Colleen Elzy and Charleen Onstad. Also surviving are grandchildren Paige Donoho, Ethan Donoho, Tylor Haws and Alexis Haws. Numerous nephews/nieces/grandnephews and grandnieces also survive.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Jamie Tennison, sister Kathleen Tennison, brother-in-law Edwin Elzy and a stepson Jerry Haws.
There will be a private burial of ashes at a later date.
