A Fairfield man is facing multiple drug-related charges following an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.
On Tuesday, deputies, working with Wayne County Probation, conducted a compliance check at a residence in Fairfield as part of an investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in Wayne County.
During the check, authorities reported finding 33-year-old Johnathan J. Fletcher in possession of approximately 13 grams of methamphetamine. Fletcher was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail.
A subsequent search of Fletcher’s residence allegedly uncovered an additional eight grams of methamphetamine along with digital scales.
Fletcher faces preliminary charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Fletcher was lodged in the Wayne County Jail where he made his initial court appearance yesterday in Wayne County Circuit Court.
