Country music fans are in for a treat at this year’s Wayne County Fair! Independent singer-songwriter Tyson Schulte will take the stage on Thursday, July 9th, immediately following the Rodeo. Admission to both the Rodeo and the concert is included with your Rodeo armband, offering fairgoers two exciting events for the price of one.
Tyson Schulte, a Northern Illinois native, brings an authentic country and alternative country sound rooted in his rural upbringing. Raised on a steady diet of show cattle, hogs, hunting, and active involvement in 4-H and FFA, Schulte’s music reflects real-life country values and experiences.
After winning the Illinois State Fair Karaoke Contest twice and being featured in the New York Times, Schulte decided to pursue music full-time. His career has seen him open for country stars like Toby Keith, Tracy Lawrence, Craig Morgan, Aaron Tippin, Brooks & Dunn, Jake Owen, and Gretchen Wilson. With seven singles released and a rapidly growing social media following of over 90,000 fans, Schulte is quickly making a name for himself across the Midwest.
