4-H show season is just around the corner, and 4-H members are ready to showcase their talents at this year’s general project, animal, and livestock shows. The Edwards County 4-H shows will kick off on Monday, June 29, and continue through Thursday, July 30, with most of the show schedule coinciding with the Edwards County Fair. Illinois Extension invites communities to attend a show in support of local youth or bring the family to learn more about 4-H.
The 2026 Edwards County 4-H show schedule is as follows:
Monday, June 29th:
5:30 p.m. Clothing Show and Food Show judging at COUNTRY Financial Hall
Saturday, July 11th:
8-11 a.m. General Project Show at COUNTRY Financial Hall.
11 a.m. Viewing of projects, followed by awards
Tuesday, July 21st:
6 p.m. Dog Show
Wednesday, July 22nd:
5:30 p.m. Rabbit Show and Small Animal Show at COUNTRY Financial Hall
Thursday, July 23rd:
5:30 p.m. Poultry Show
Friday, July 24th:
6 p.m. Equine Show
Monday, July 27th:
8 a.m. Livestock Judging Mini Session
8:30 a.m. Livestock Judging Contest
2 p.m. Sheep Show
Tuesday, July 28th:
8 a.m. Swine Show
1 p.m. Goat Show
Wednesday, July 29th:
8 a.m. Bucket Calf Show
8:30 a.m. Beef Show
1 p.m. Tractor Rodeo
6 p.m. Master Showmanship
Thursday, July 30th:
9 a.m. Youth Livestock Auction
All shows are open to the public and will be held at the Edwards County Fairgrounds in Albion, unless otherwise noted. Community members are encouraged to follow Edwards County 4-H on Facebook to stay up to date on events and show results.
