A three-vehicle crash involving a passenger bus, a car and a semi-truck temporarily closed northbound Interstate 57 near Bonnie Friday night.
According to the Illinois State Police, the crash occurred at mile marker 86 when a passenger bus and a passenger car collided. Both vehicles became disabled in the left lane and were then struck by a semi-truck.
The driver of the passenger car was injured and transported to a local hospital. Authorities said the bus was carrying passengers, but no injuries were reported among those on board.
Northbound traffic on I-57 was diverted at Ina while Illinois State Police investigated the crash.
