An Albion man has been sentenced to prison for failing to comply with the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act.
Fifty-three-year-old Mark B. Noble was sentenced Friday in Edwards County Circuit Court to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to failing to register as a sex offender as required by law.
Noble was previously convicted in Wayne County in 2015 of criminal sexual assault involving a 10-year-old victim. He was 42 years old at the time of the offense and received a sentence of probation.
In addition to his prison sentence, Noble will serve up to six months of mandatory supervised release following his release from custody.
