Wayne County Treasurer, Yvette Anderson reminds area residents that 2026 mobile home property tax bills are due tomorrow (Wednesday).
Payments received after that date will be subject to a late fee of $25 per month, with a maximum penalty of $100.
Officials say anyone who owns a mobile home and did not receive a tax bill should contact the Wayne County Treasurer’s Office.
Payments may be made by cash or check at the Treasurer’s Office, located at the Wayne County Courthouse, Suite 201. A drop box is also available on the west side of the courthouse for after-hours payments. Credit and debit cards are not accepted for mobile home tax payments.
The Treasurer’s Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Residents with questions are encouraged to call the office for additional information.
