Illinois Extension and Wayne County 4-H have announced the results of the 2026 Wayne County 4-H General Project Show.
Several local 4-H members earned State Fair delegate honors and will advance to compete at the Illinois State Fair in August.
Among those receiving multiple State Fair delegations were Avery Barnard, Isabelle Edmison, Samuel Edmison, Hannah Fickas, Addisyn Hutchcraft, Brody Hutchcraft, Silas Keyser, Hunter Kirk, Bryson Simpson, Benton Yandell and others representing projects ranging from photography, visual arts and sewing to agronomy, welding, horticulture, woodworking, robotics, cooking and animal science.
Overall champions included Isaiah Anderson in Creating with Building Bricks, Owen Feather in Agronomy-Corn, Brody Hutchcraft in Welding and Beekeeping, Lane Mason in Robotics, Kate Vaughan in Cooking 401, Journey Webb in Cooking 101, and Charli Simpson in Creative Writing and Horticulture Vegetable and Fruit Display.
