Illinois Extension and Wayne County 4-H have announced the results of the 2026 Wayne County 4-H Horse Show, recognizing top exhibitors and thanking the many volunteers and sponsors who helped make the event a success.
This year’s horse show award sponsors included Mt. Erie Ag Service, Double J Trucking, Andrew Diesel of Edward Jones Investments, and Wayne County Clerk Liz Ann Woodrow.
Top overall honors went to Ryleigh Taylor, who earned High Point Individual Overall, while Cooper Coston was named Reserve High Point Individual Overall.
Division champions included Cooper Coston in the Junior Division, Kemberlin Walker in the Intermediate Division, and Ryleigh Taylor in the Senior Division. Reserve champions were Johnsy Walker, Jordyn Spindor, and Claire Matthews, respectively.
In showmanship competition, Cooper Coston won Junior Champion Showman, Kemberlin Walker claimed Intermediate Champion Showman, and Claire Matthews earned Senior Champion Showman honors. Reserve showmanship awards went to Lyla Fearn, Jordyn Spindor, and Ryleigh Taylor.
Illinois Extension and Wayne County 4-H expressed appreciation to the judges, livestock superintendents, show announcers, volunteers, and sponsors for their support of this year’s event.
