>>Kawhi, LeBron Headline NBA Free Agency Day One

(Undated) — The biggest transaction coming from Day One of NBA free agency turned out to be a seismic trade. ESPN reports the Raptors re-acquired Kawhi Leonard [[ kah-WHY ]] from the Clippers in exchange for a package including Brandon Ingram and several first-round picks. Leonard helped lead Toronto to a championship in 2019. Meanwhile, LeBron James confirmed he is leaving the Lakers. The 41-year-old thanked Los Angeles and is rumored to join Steph Curry and Golden State. However, one detail of that move hit a snag on Tuesday when the Wizards expressed “no interest” in trading LeBron’s former teammate Anthony Davis to the Warriors, or anywhere else.

>>NBA Cup Championship Game Coming To Indianapolis

(Indianapolis, IN) — The NBA’s premier regular season event will finish in the state of Indiana this coming season. The league announced Tuesday that the NBA Cup championship game will be played at Butler’s historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on December 11th. This will mark the first time the Cup final is held outside of Las Vegas. The Knicks took down the Spurs for the title in 2025.

>>Reds Place Dane Myers On Injured List

(Undated) — The Reds are dealing with injuries. Outfielder Dane Myers was placed on the 10-day injured list with a bruised left shoulder on Tuesday. >>NHL Free Agency Begins Wednesday

(Undated) — The NHL offseason is reaching a significant milestone. Free agency begins on Wednesday. Unrestricted players are allowed to negotiate with any club and teams can send offer sheets for restricted free agents. Many franchises are opting to fill holes through trades, with dozens of deals already being completed going back to last week’s draft.

>>Panthers Acquire Goalie Jacob Markstrom From Devils

(Sunrise, FL) — The Panthers will have a new goalie between the pipes next season. The team acquired Jacob Markstrom from the Devils on Tuesday in exchange for a package headlined by Evan Rodrigues. Sergei Bobrovsky is set to leave the Cats in free agency after helping the franchise win back-to-back Stanley Cups.

>>Penguins And Golden Knights Agree To Trade

The move helps free cap space in an attempt for the Golden Knights to retain pending unrestricted free agent defenseman Rasmus Andersson.

>>Liberty Beat Aces To Win WNBA Commissioner’s Cup

(Elmont, NY) — The Liberty took down a shorthanded Aces squad 93-85 to win the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup at UBS Arena. Sabrina Ionescu led the Libs in scoring with 26 points.
