The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Fairfield man Tuesday afternoon on a Wayne County failure to appear warrant.
47-year-old John T. Berg was taken into custody on charges related to unlawful violation of an order of protection, two counts of driving under the influence, driving 15 to 20 miles per hour over the speed limit, possession of firearm ammunition without a FOID card, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and criminal trespass to a residence.
Berg was booked into the Wayne County Jail, later released on bond, and is scheduled to appear in Wayne County Circuit Court on August 18th.
