Several criminal cases were resolved last Thursday in Wayne County Circuit Court before Resident Judge Matt Vaughn.

Damario M.E. Heck, 21, of Fairfield, admitted violating his probation for possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to a new two-year term of probation and ordered to pay court costs. Recent methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed under a plea agreement.

Jody R. Beccue, 40, of Mason, admitted violating her probation and was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge. A previously imposed 90-day jail sentence was stayed, and she was ordered to pay $2,495 in fines and fees.

Reese Irwin, 24, of Johnsonville, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass to a residence. He received one year of probation, was ordered to pay $100 in restitution, and received credit for four days served in the Wayne County Jail. Two additional charges were dismissed.

Desiree Rhoades, 27, of Cisne, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. She was placed on six months of court supervision, ordered to pay court costs, and received credit for one day served. Two additional charges were dismissed.

Ronald W. Dunlap, 50, of Fairfield also appeared before Judge Vaughn after violating probation in a 2021 obstruction of justice case. Following a new methamphetamine arrest earlier this year, the court revoked his probation and sentenced him to one year of conditional discharge and 180 days in the Wayne County Jail. With good-time credit, Dunlap will serve 90 days and, after receiving 74 days of credit for time already served, had 16 days remaining on his sentence as of last Thursday.
