MLB HOME RUN DERBY:
St. Louis Cardinals Right Fielder Jordan Walker is the 2026 Major League Baseball Home Run Derby Champion.
In the first round, Walker blasted 13 homers, followed by Willson Contreras with 13, Junior Caminero with 12, and Kyle Schwarber with 10. In the semifinals, Walker outlasted Caminero 6 home runs to 5 while Schwarber bested Contreras 9 home runs to 8.
In the Finals, the Phillies Kyle Schwarber led off with 11 home runs on 15 swings. The Cardinals’ Walker needed 6 straight home runs, including 4 “magenta” or last-chance balls to pass Schwarber and claim the crown 12-11.
Jordan Walker is the 1st St. Louis Cardinal in history to win the Home Run Derby.
