FAIRFIELD CITY COUNCIL MEETS TODAY

The Fairfield City Council meets this evening. On the agenda in “Routine Business,” they are set to review an ordinance approving the appropriations, recognize new firefighters, acknowledge the Kemper CPA Planning Letter, and review a proclamation celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Frontier Community College. In other business, the City Council will review resolutions for Business District Agreements with Mindy’s Sew Shop, Napa, Yellin’ Helen’s, Gifford Properties, and the City of Fairfield. They will also review resolutions of support and commitments of funds to the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission, review Fire Pension Fund appointment, a street closing for the FCHS Homecoming, approval of a salary adjustment for the Billing Clerk, and the purchase of a vehicle for the Water Distribution Department. The Fairfield City Council meets at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers. There will be an appropriations Public Hearing at 5:50 p.m.
