FRONTIER COMMUNITY COLLEGE SEEKING HEAD MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL COACHES

Illinois Eastern Community Colleges is accepting applications for two full-time coaching positions at Frontier Community College. They have announced openings for the Men’s and Women’s Head Basketball Coaches. They say both positions are 12-month professional, non-faculty roles responsible for overseeing all aspects of their respective basketball programs. Responsibilities for both positions include recruiting student-athletes, scheduling games and team travel, conducting practices, supervising staff, maintaining equipment, fundraising, teaching, fostering positive community relations, and ensuring compliance with National Junior College Athletic Association regulations. IECC says applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree, while a master’s degree is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with previous college coaching experience. IECC is also seeking applicants with strong public relations, fundraising, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Applicants should submit a letter of interest, resume, completed IECC application, and transcripts to IECC Human Resources. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and will be accepted until the positions are filled. The start dates for both positions are pending approval by the IECC Board of Trustees.
