AvaLynn Marie Ayer was born sleeping on Monday, July 13, 2026 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Although her time here on earth was short, she touched the lives of many and will always be loved. Although she is gone, she will never be forgotten.
AvaLynn is survived by her parents Andrew & Lisa Ayer; her 3 brothers: Peyton Alan Manning, Matthew Cordell Manning, and Jonathan Michael Manning; her grandparents Marshall & Judith Ayer and her grandmother Lisa Travelstead; aunts & uncles: Joseph (Callie) Ayer, Benjamin (Mikaela) Ayer, Hannah (Larry) Cooper, Elizabeth (Gabe) Fields, Stephen (Ellie) Ayer, and Laveta Lynn Hardin; along with several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, her uncle Caleb Ayer, and her cousin Angel Nikole Hardin.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
