FAIRFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT #112 TO HOLD MONTHLY MEETING THIS EVENING

The Fairfield Public School District #112 will hold its regularly scheduled monthly board meeting this evening. The meeting will open with a call to order, roll call, citizens’ “non-agenda” items, and the approval of minutes from last month’s meeting. They will then review financial reports, including the Treasurer’s Report, addressing payroll and the payment of monthly bills. The Superintendent’s Report will address and act upon the Revenue to Expense Report, Food Service Report, Transportation Report, Fiscal Year 27 Fuel Bids, School District Depositories, Alternative School Slot Fee, Designation of Individual(s) to Develop the Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 27, Threat Assessment Plan, Handbooks and Athletic Guidelines, First Reading of Press Policy 122, the Building Report, and Job Descriptions for Secretaries/Bookkeeper. This will be followed by Principals’ Reports from Center Street School and North Side School, and a Board Member Request or Report. The Board will then enter into Closed Session to Discuss Information Regarding Appointment, Employment, Retirement or Dismissal of an Employee, Labor Relations, Collective Negotiations, Litigation, Public Office Vacancy, and Student Discipline. Following the Closed Session, the Board is expected to act on the Resignation of Paraprofessional(s), Employment of Paraprofessional(s), the employment of a Bus Driver, and the Intent to Retire of a Certified Teacher. The Fairfield Public School District #112 regularly scheduled monthly meeting will be held tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the Center Street School Boardroom.
