The North Wayne Community Unit School District #200 Board met last Thursday. The board approved the minutes of the June 17th regular meeting, a Co-op agreement in girls’ high school basketball with Wayne City and Webber, a letter of resignation submitted by Sarah Scott, a school improvement plan for the SIP grant, and the payment of July bills. In other business, they authorized the Superintendent to amend the FY 27 calendar as needed. Following the executive session, the board hired April Walker as an individual aide for the 2026-27 school year. The Board also highlighted some important upcoming dates. Online registration is August 3rd – August 11th. In-person registration is on August 10th and 11th at your child’s school. During the first week of school, August 12th and 13th will be Teacher Institute Days, August 14th is the first student attendance day with a 2:15 dismissal, and August 17th-21st will be the first full week with 2:15 dismissals. Johnsonville will be on August 12th from 5:00-6:30
Cisne Middle School and
