The Hope Center in Albion is inviting the community to a special Christmas in July Feed the Family event on Wednesday, July 29th beginning at 9 a.m.
The event will replace the organization’s regular Saturday giveaway and will feature the distribution of food and at least 100 boxes of clothing to individuals and families in need.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a box, tote, or cooler to carry items home.
The event will also include a Message of Hope from Allie Bobe of Bobe’s Pizza, who will share words of encouragement with those attending.
Organizers chose the Wednesday date to coincide with Edwards County Fair Week, making it convenient for those already visiting Albion.
The giveaway will be held at the Hope Center, 23 W. Cherry St., Albion, and is open to everyone in the community. Organizers encourage residents to help spread the word so those in need can take advantage of the event.
