Three local residents made their appearance in Wayne County Circuit Court Tuesday.
Zachary C. Owen, 41, of Fairfield, entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a Class X Felony conviction for Home Invasion. Owen also was ordered to serve 18 months of Supervised Release following his release from prison. Owen was also given 5 days credit for time served, ordered to have no contact with the victim, and to pay fines and court costs.
Thomas L. Hatcher, 31, of Golden Gate, was given a sentence of 2 years Probation on a Class A Misdemeanor conviction for Domestic Battery after entering a plea of guilty. Hatcher was ordered to attend an anger management class and also ordered to pay fines and court costs.
Daniel Gonzalez Sanchez, 44, of Fairfield, entered a plea of guilty to a Class A Misdemeanor charge of Battery. Sanchez was sentenced to a two-year term of probation, ordered to attend an anger management class, have no contact with the victims, and to pay all fines and court costs.
