Former Frontier Community College Volleyball Coach, Chet Snyder returned to Wayne County Circuit Court Tuesday for a pretrial hearing in his criminal case involving allegations of sexual abuse.
Special Prosecutor Jennifer Mudge told the court that the final discovery materials have been turned over to Snyder’s attorney, T.J. Parrish. Both the prosecution and defense agreed there are no outstanding discovery issues.
Judge Denton Aud approved a 60-day continuance, with the next pretrial hearing scheduled for September 8th.
Snyder faces two felony counts of criminal sexual abuse, one felony count of unlawful restraint, and one misdemeanor count of providing alcohol to a person under the age of 21. The charges were filed on September 5th, 2025, and stem from allegations involving a local juvenile.
Snyder remains free under previously ordered pretrial release conditions as the case moves forward.
