The Illinois Wheat Association will host its annual Summer Wheat Forum on Thursday at the American Farm Heritage Museum in Greenville.
The forum will feature a summer weather outlook from meteorologist Seth Bohnoff, a keynote presentation by agronomist Peter “Wheat Pete” Johnson of Real Agriculture, and a discussion on commodity risk management for food companies by Scott Custard, vice president of Moving Parts LLC.
The association will also announce the winners of its Bob Frank Wheat Yield Contest during the event.
Registration will be held from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. Participants may also register in advance or find additional information at illinoiswheat.org.
